Some people have a special something and are at the right time at the right place, like Andy Whitfield and Spartacus. Although it can be argued as to whether the Starz TV series is any good, as this depends solely on expectations we set when watching television, he was a natural fit in that Spartacus character.
He was put to test as a fighter in real life just when he was conquering many hearts with his role as Spartacus: Cancer.
He fought well but had to give in yesterday, rest in peace Andy.
